Chapter Six, The Great Crow Fallacy: Finding the Best Evidence. This chapter begins with three stories about crows dropping walnuts onto streets so that automobiles would crack the nuts by driving over them, and different people who observed the behavior in order to determine whether the crows were intentionally using the cars at nutcrackers. A final study concluded that after 400 separate incidents, crows are smart, but not smart enough to drop the nuts in front of cars on purpose.
