What is a word made of? A couple or an “average” amount of letters, maybe a dash, hyphen, or even an apostrophe…so why does a word have so much power? It’s just a few symbols strung together. Wikipedia defines the word “word” as “a unit of language that carries meaning and consists of one or more morphemes (symbols) which are linked more or less tightly together, and have a phonetical (sounds of human speech) value”. So why exactly do we care so much about specific words?
