On to essay two!

If you haven't yet done so, submit your first essay via an email attachment ASAP.

Because I'm still grading the "lecture" may be delayed until Tuesday. I'm still also waiting on an essay or two that has not been emailed. Let me know if you have any questions.

Step one in the second essay is reading chapters three and four of UnSpun and posting a summary of the major details in sentence form by midnight Monday. From there, responses are due by Wednesday night and a draft by midnight Friday. I'll post a "lecture" by Monday that should give you some direction on the assignment.

Missing Piece

Ah ha, here it is. I knew I was missing some informtion somehow. I had accessed the information that was contained in the syllabus and the schedule, but since I am new at this online stuff, including blogs, I did notknow to go to the home page. That is where all the information is. I totally missed all but the last section of this home page. So what I have done so far in this class is probably lame compared to the expectations. Nobody gives you a crash course in how to navigate the computer online courses, you just sign up and off you go. I am also enrolled in a Math class and it has been the same kind of learning curve for me. It is also extremely time consuming as I am very inept when it comes to math. Hopefully now that I have found this home page and know better now how to navigate, I will be producing better work.

Kelly, I've taken several

Kelly, I've taken several online classes, and this one is VERY confusing.

let me know

I hope you've been asking about what's confusing you. If not, you'll have only yourself to blame. Bradley

letting you know

Well, I didn't really know what I was missing until I read the information listed on "home", I could just tell I was missing stuff by what the other participants in the class were doing. But I didn't know if they were doing it because they had already had classes and knew the expectations or if somehow they were getting information I wasn't getting. That was what it was, When the page opens for me, it has always opened to my blog page, it doesn't show the "Home" page, and the only way I had gotten the other information was that it showed up in the Recent blog posts, or recent comment posts. I think I am squared away now though I just have a lot of reading material to catch up on. Not blaming anybody, except my own ignorance about how to navigate these online classes.

good to know

I was wondering how you had missed the information. Now I know. I think you can go to your settings and make it so you go to the site homepage when you log in. I'd suggest that. As you can see, I post a lot of general information there, the sort of stuff I'd say or remind you of if we were in a classroom. Glad you got it squared away. Let me know if you run into other areas of confusion so we can square those away as well. Bradley
