1. "Certainty that nothing is certain- that everything can be changed." This idea has importance to me because it tells how there is not a for sure outcome in things. You also don't know for sure if you will succeed in things like school until it comes down to it. You can just take your dedication away for a few days and it can change everything.

2. "Sports is a combination of spectacle and drama." This relates in part to a few of my personal experiences. Another thing other than sports that is a combination of spectacle and drama is fights and arguments. When a fight breaks out in a public place a crowd always gathers because the spectacle and drama draw people in.

3. "Desire to identify with something larger than one's self." In my eyes this quote relates to church and religion. It gives sports a religious feel.
