Time Managment # 2
I am a very social person when it comes to my friends and boyfriend. Almost every day I talk to them, and catch up on their daily lives. I spend more than three to five hours a day talking on the phone, instant messaging on the internet, or just hanging out with them. You will almost never see me not socializing with them when I am not in school. I should reduce talking to my friends so I can have more time with homework/study, get to sleep at a earlier time, and being able to eat at an earlier time. Doing this would give me about three to five hours of time, which I could spend focusing more on school work and studying for my English and Math classes. I could spend about two hours on going over math problems, and making sure I understand fully what we learned in class, or doing any review that I might need. Then with the three other hours I would do my English studying such as spend an hour reading the class book, an hour reading the book club book, and than the final hour practicing my writing skills making them better than what they are. Also by cutting back my communication time I would be able to go to bed at an earlier time than I normally do. Right now I have been going to bed about one am or two am. I am always waking up sleep deprived which makes it harder to stay focused in class, and it also makes understanding the teacher harder too. With enough sleep I will be able to learn and stay focused on what the teacher is teaching me. Also by cutting my social time with my friends I could eat dinner at a normal time such as six pm or seven pm instead of eight pm or nine pm. When I eat dinner I am most always eating it by myself, because my mom and step dad have already eaten by the time I decide to eat. Reducing the time I spend talking to my friends would allow me to eat dinner earlier, and would allow me to eat with my family. Eating dinner earlier would also allow me to get into bed at a decent time too. Reducing talking to my friends would give me more time for studying/
homework, going to bed earlier, and eating dinner at a more reasonable time, and also this would allow me to better simplify my life and focus my energies on more important things such as my college education.
