Megan Baeth-Brison
On the first day of class my mental state was harshly diminished, all rational thought had stayed in bed that morning leaving the body to fend for itself. The first thing I noticed after tearing the "sleep" out of my eyes was the chair in front of my desk. Someone had been so sexually repressed they were overcome with the urge to brutally carve their lust into immortality.
"Pair up with someone"
Gah, strangers are vultures. Fortunetly for my self esteem I wasn't the odd man out and the person in the the chair covered in perversion turned around. The girl seemed like a complete contrast to the chair she sat in. There are few people I would consider true "innocent bystanders" and she seemed to fit the mold.
The first thing I noticed was her red hair made me squint. Apperently she is a dog person and has two gigantic german shepards that would definetly scare the hell out of me, but she assured me they were "sweethearts" and only wanted love. We talked about the military, she travels with her air-force firefighting husband all over the states. I know all to well the life of a military man, being the son of one. She had lived in Alaska one of my favorite places on Earth and told me about -45 degree temperatures while I told her about my memories of bears and rivers of fish. I enjoyed talking to her and she put up with the insane crap that floods out of my mouth at innappropriate times.
I suppose the point I need to get across is Megan Baeth- Brison is sincerely a nice person. Someone I should avoid so as not to infect.

Laughed out loud.
I really enjoyed the way you started off your journal by describing your morning. Great description of the first day back disorientation. You have a really candid commentary backing up the facts of your interview.
