Object X can be more than it appears and can mean different things to different people. To most it was a quarter worth 25 cents, but to others it was a symbol of freedom, liberty, and an American icon. The whole idea of what is it and what does it do really could mean the same thing. It's a quarter that buys things, meaning simple money, or it's liberty from oppression and freedom of commerce. With this symbol we are able to be independent and express ourselves. It is truly American but in the best possible way.
