So I watched the posted version and the BBC version... I still couldn't make much sense of the text, I read it but couldn't make sense til i watched it... It wasn't just that I was reading at 2 in the A.M. before. So instead I compared the posted version and the BBC version and how it made seense to me after reading and watching then watching another version... They are actually quite similar but different in a lot of ways. number one the posted version is like 1800's style and the BBC is your typical shakespearian style. Next the Dukes dramatic stance in the posted version is so much different then the way you get a feel for everything in the BBC version and the way it seems it would be in the text. Next The way it was acted out is just so much different then you picture it after you read then espically after you watch the BBC version. Its the difference between cheap mellow drama and bad stage proformance and good stage proformance and TV show acting, Wheither it be from the BBC or the book or the Posted version of this play.
