Journal Eighteen

Well. I've had a difficult time trying to figure out what's going on in this play. Watching scene one helped me to understand a bit more of what's going on, though I still don't quite fully understand. Seeing the depiction of the characters is definitely helpful in knowing how to read them. I couldn't quite envision Richard as being so selfish and immature when reading, but I think the way the actor really kind of almost overdid the character seemed to be quite fitting. Reading along while listening to/watching how the scene was played out was also a great aid in grasping the gist of what was going on.
Basically, Richard is ridiculous. He has no respect for his elders and flagrantly disregards wise council.
