Presentational
It seems to me that the presentational style would change the message of the play to being very applicable to the audience, while the representational lets the audience see the world through a different set of eyes. So where presentational would change the audiences mindset, representational would expand their width of knowledge or experience. This play seems to be one with issues very applicable to our society today. The idea of a man down on his luck due to a lack of money as Egeon is in act 1 and the debate over the role of women in society in act 2 are examples of issues addressed so far that are very applicable to America today. Therefore, I would use a presentational style to involve the audience in the issues brought up in the play. Once the audience is brought into the issues portrayed, the playwright/actors have the stage (pun) to get their points across in an engaging manner.

Issues.
I didn't think about the play being applicable to our society today with the issues presented. Interesting. Do you think that a representational style would also bring forth the issues? It might not be as apparent or exciting as presentational, but I think it might get the job done.

looking back
Looking back on this issue, I don't think my logic was that great. I guess either style could get a point across, I'm really trying to figure out the pros and cons of each, but I can't find much except on a level of ease for the performers.
